ok, this might be elementary to most of you but I can honestly say that it's fucking with MY head. first off, I'm running windows xp and I use mozilla firefox to access the internet. my homepage is sbc yahoo. a few mornings ago I powered up the computer and it promped me to sign in using my email addy and password. done. it also asked to check the box if I wanted to stay logged in for 2 weeks. done. so then it takes me to my sbc yahoo homepage, then I notice that I have to log back into all the websites that I frequent, including the most important DFWstangs. :D so I do. oh, before I forget, I have to log into every single forum on this site that I want to participate in. so now for the real problem, after I'm done on the computer I shut it down, keep in mind that I DIDN'T log off anything. next time I get back on the computer I have to start all over with the log in's. WTF is going on.
TIA

you mean log in on the forum? What's happening is it is clearing your cookies. Open up mozilla and go to settings/privacy or one of the tabs - it will say 'clear my temporary internet files/cookies each time I exit' or something like that - uncheck that - and then don't forget to manually clear the porn sites out.

when mozilla is first installed there is an option that asks you if "when mozilla closes clear history and cookies" or something like that I had a problem that was simular to this just check the settings and make sure you arn't clearing any catche, history, or cookies when mozilla closes
