on the inside part of the clutch lever there should be a round knob that you can turn that will either tighten or loosen the cable.

Yes I know that much but there is supposed to be a clutch play distance of 0.08-0.12 so that your clutch wont slip and I am trying to find out ways to get that correct length.

Dude just make it so the gap is as little as possible. If there is no slack at all then thats when it could slip.

First of all-Your on a mustang forum so dont get all but hurt if you dont get an instant answer.
Second-Being a newb to the site you dont have any leeway so try not to get all bent out of shape and post some bitchy remark

whoaaa, time the fuck out. Nobody on DFW stangs can actually take a clutch cover off and set the end play on the clutch push rod, those are heavy duty mods man.

Well, most kawis have a lever pull rod, not a push rod that goes through the case to the other side, like most suzukis. So, I dont remember exactly, but if its like a zx12, just adjust it at the knob, you want it to be somewhere in the middle while getting your 2-3mm of freeplay on the lever, if its not, you can use the threaded bolt with 2 12mm nuts on it by the clutch cover to get the knob on the lever in range. Whether its inside outside, whatever, its not a range of .08-.12 to get it in, its .08-infinity, you just get to a point where your clutch wont disengage. Its mostly preference of how much freeplay you want. If that clears up your head....
