the first time i saw the 08 CBR1000rr I thought it looked like hammered dog shit.. The all black one is the only one that is starting to grow on me a little. I cant say its one of the bikes that i'm waiting to see show up at our dealership. the zx10 on the other hand looks pretty dope. I'm more excited about yamaha going back to Raven black instead of that gunmetal crap.

introducing the all new 2008 Honda R1!!! That thing looks like something Yamaha has already produced. Don't get me wrong (i love hondas, started on a honda), but it really looks like a knock off IMHO. With that said, I would still roll it! I am really diggin the black one!

It's a honda, it's power is overrated and it will be overweight compared to the rest in it's class.

Oh, and at daytona after bragging about power it will get it's ass handed to it by the suzukis. :)

i dont know about the 1000rr but the 07 cbr600rr cleaned house on everybody last year, if honda took what they did to the little cbr to heart the big brother might have a chance

Yeah, but that's an easy aftermarket fix. after looking a little closer it looks like an 07 R6 rear ended a Ducati. It looks like it's slimmed down, possible weight savings?

Actually Honda claims that this bike is the lightest of the new literbikes. I'm really digging it. I love the big tank (feels more comfortable to me when leaned over) Good place to hook my knee into.

uh oh. Now it's down to the GSX1000 or CBR1000 in March.

I went to try and check out the 08s but, they won't have some in until the end of March. they are offering $9500 on the 07s though.
