Im looking to buy either a zx-10 or gsxr1000 around december or january, do they have sales or go out of there way to sale them around that time since it is winter

depends on the dealership. Best bet is going to be to pick up a cycle trader and figure out which dealerships are advertising them cheapest. Ive walked into some dealerships (back in 05) where they were asking the same price for brand new 03 SV1000S as a brand new 05 SV1000S, and refusing to negotiate.

Id say your best bet is to go in when ever kawi or zuki puts the 08 for sale and buy an 07.

If i get a kawi thats what i would do because i dont like the new 08 model
