You'd be surprised. Just because it's a fairly new car, doesn't mean that it can't have paint blemishes. Think about how they wash them at the dealership(the same drying towels go over all of the cars=scratches and swirls). What about this owner running it through car washes? I'll admit that this thing wasn't horrible, like a car thats 10 years old. But it had it's fair share of blemishes, and they were a pain in the ass to remove! And this car has been on the road for about a year.

Good gawd! It looks like you dipped it in clear!
I've never seen anyone get a car as clean as you do. I detailed mine as best as I could, trying to save myself some money. All it did was make me mad when I was done because I know you could get it cleaner. It still has some swirl marks and some blemishes even after clay bar, polish, and wax. I'm pinching pennies now and collecting them in a jar labelled "Nick's Custom Detailing Money". Seriously dude... you got skills!
On another note, if you're doing a car that has some chips do you fill them with touch up, or is that on the customer before you get the car?

It takes some time to fill in those chips(if they are deep).
Send me a PM and we'll discuss my process on filiing in those chips. That way you can get a better understanding of how I do it.

dealerships are HELL on paintjobs!
new cars typically have a lot of swirls/not great looking paint because they sit out in the elements and then get washed in a rough, non-methodical way.
that is sex, btw, nick.

Yeah, I worked at a dealership a long time ago and you would be surprised at what is on them from the factory like rail dust. They aren't a slick as you might think.

Thanks again for the great work, my cars will be here in about 3 hours! The Vette looks sick on the HREs and new tires... ;) I'm going to try to take pics in front of the Golden Gate this weekend, I will post em up when we get back from SF! :D

It has polished HREs...
Had to get new tires for it because I got a nail in one of the Yokohamas, and they stopped making the tires, so I couldn't get it replaced... It has Michelin PS2s on HRE 547Rs... :p
