i'll agree. that was funny to watch.

but that movie was probably a D- overall. one of the worst tarrentino productions ever.

Planet Terror on the other hand, was awesome.

Planet Terror > Grind House - Hands Down.

The movie was just way to far off the wall. Did not make sense to me for the most part. Kirt Russell crying like a girl was a little much too. I sat there through the whole movie waiting for something to make sense..........it did not happen.

I think maybe I drown those old movie brain cells in to much tequila over the years. Amazing how your tastes change with old age. :) Answer me this, why the hell was he killing the bitches anyway? (I had to stop and start it quite a few times when my son came in for the language, maybe I missed something.) I saw women in a bar, then Kirt car killling them.

Yep, seen that one. To be honest back when those came out, I wasn't to much in to cars back then and have not rewatched them. I have forgotten more movies than most people have seen on here. :o

Yeah, it sucked he had to wreck those cars. But the car chase was pretty sweet. If you were to cut it down to just the cars themselves and such, then the movie was pretty much a tribute to all the '70's era car movies. For example, the whole incident with the biker crashing was kinda like the scene from Bullet. I enjoyed the movie, but it certainly wasn't the best. I just wish they had released the movies on DVD together.

From wiki:
Rodriguez's segment, Planet Terror, revolves around an outfit of rebels attempting to survive an onslaught of zombie-like creatures as they feud with a military unit, while Tarantino's segment, Death Proof, focuses on a misogynistic, psychopathic stunt man who targets young women, murdering them with his "death proof" stunt cars. Each feature is preceded by faux trailers of exploitation films in other genres that were developed by other directors.
Now it all makes perfect sense? Ok, maybe not.

I've watched this like 500 times now. Well, the chase at the end at least.
