I'm trying to gauge interest in undercarriage details. There is some new equiptment on the market that I believe will do a decent job, without having to jack the car up or have a lift. It's not going to be anything spectacular like it would be with the car on a lift, but will get rid of a lot of oil, grease and grime that's loaded up on some cars undercarriage.
Once I figure out the interest level, I will buy some equiptment to test out and see how well it works. If there isn't a market for it, then there is no reason for me to purchase more equiptment.

So, is there a market out there to have your undercarriage cleaned?

Unless I was taking it to a show, and had plenty of goodies under there to show off, I can't see myself ever caring if the undercarriage was really all that clean. It would be cool to have that and to be able to offer that extra service, but who knows when it would pay for itself.

I might do it once a year (or 2) but I would not want a film left behind that would attract more dirt.

Not quite sure yet. I do them now, but a lift is required in order for us to get under there and clean them real good.
I plan on adding this peice of equiptment to my garage so I can clean them without a lift, and I'll nee to do some testing with it to see just how good of a job it will actually do. But, as long as it doesn't take too long, then I'm guessing around $50-$75, but like I said, we'll have to wait and see how good of a job it will do first before I set a price.

If you have a lift that will allow us underneath the car, then the price will varry depending on how good you want it to look.
If we just get under there and clean out all of the big stuff, without spending too much time, then you're probably looking at about $50 or so.
If you're wanting it to look as good as it can, then we can spend hours underneath there, with brushes and you could spend $100 or more. It's a VERY messy job!

But if you don't have a lift, then we can't do it right now.
