wow 5 thousand over blue book, your prices are starting to get outrageous, modded cars dont add 5k to the price, it should be cheaper than a non-modded, I'm looking at getting possibly a cobra but i wouldnt pay more than 23k out the door for that car because, at that price I would be screwing myself its almost a 5 year old car for christ sake

Hi guys, I can appreciate the concern over the prices being so far over blue book, what you guys don't see is that wholesale is over blue book on these cars right now.... let me explain why (which I am sure you guys realize). One, the GT500.... since Ford is marking these things up 10,000-15,000 straight off the sticker alot of the people that were waiting for this car bought up the 2003-2004 Cobras which you can buy for 25-30 spend 3,000 on and you have a lighter, better handling car with more power to the rear wheels. Secondly, they didn't make a whole lot of these cars and well, they are the most powerful car on the street for the money... period. Last but not least we pay good money for the good cars, we then send them to Gearheads down the street, dyno them, have Gearheads go through them and fix anything that is wrong if anything for that matter. We are a small dealership that focuses on the Cobra niche and we do it for the fun more than anything else, we love the cars and we strive to make everyone happy that comes our way. If you still have trouble choking this down check out Autotrader and look at the SVT prices... here is a link to one I ran LINK (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/searchresults.jsp?num_records=25&search_lang=en&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&search_type=both&distance=0&address=76001&marketZipError=false&style_flag=1&make=FORD&model=MUST&make2=&start_year=2003&end_year=2004&min_price=&max_price=&transmission=&engine=&drive=&doors=&fuel=&max_mileage=&color=&keywords_display=&sort_type=priceDESC&body_code=0&certified=&advanced=&default_sort=priceDESC&awsp=false&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=)
You can grab one off of Ebay for less, there is no doubt there, and we have done the same, the challenge with that is you never know what you are going to get. Case and point the Torch Red that we have advertised in this forum with the high miles... it came in with a head tick.... we had Gearheads rebuild it and are still selling it for the same price of when we first started advertising it. We want our customers to have as much fun as we do for miles to come. I hope this helps sheds a little light on the Cobra market. Thanks! Take care.

You handled that well, a lot better than I would have. LOL
Personally I can't see how you are selling these things at the prices you are asking, even after the explanation, but hey, more power to you.

I see all the bashing about the prices of these cars, and I will tell you guys from experience that you are getting what you pay for. The pictures on the website dont do these things justice. I have met Brandon and Allen and both of these guys are top notch dudes. They really want you to have the car just as bad as you want it. I bought my 03 from these guys and I tell you, I paid more than what kbb says its worth but with all the mods and extras that are on these cars its cheaper to buy the car complete. Think about it, I thought ok well I am picking up a bigger car payment, and for sure more money is going to insurance, where would I have the extra money to build this car the right way with out cutting corners. Trust me these guys arent buying crap to sell to others. I had an awesome experience and it has been months ago when I bought my car, and I am still praising my experience there. On the other hand I am still waiting on my manual and navi disks for my head unit!! :)

Nice car but too much for me.Ok so i talked to allen and ask him to find me a true blue Mustang Gt Bullitt and he told me he would try to locate one, well i called him back today and he told me he couldnt locate one for me unless i put down 1000 bucks,ok well im not going to dish out 1000 bucks just to get him to find me,i would give him 1000 bucks to if he said, hey i found one,now i need a deposit and then ill get it for you then i would, but if autoconnection is going to charge just to locate one then fuck that shit,i can find one on my own, they said they could find anything you need, well obviously now i call bullshit, they locate what you need if you pay them to sit on their asses and go through the net just to find one,so yea,NO BUSINESS WITH THEM,and i cant imagine how it would get later on if i did actually buy one from them, yea i know they have probley done some people right, but a really good business does EVERYBODY right!,not just some

I apologize that you were unhappy with the arrangements. Before we buy a requested vehicle for anyone we require a deposit (anything in stock is of course in stock). If we buy a vehicle for you, within your guidlines at a certain price... and you back out... we are at a loss. Not saying you would... but it has already happened to us a few times. If we overpay seeing that you were going to pay a certain price for a vehicle, you decide you don't want it, now we are stuck with a special vehicle that we would have to take a loss on because we bought it for a specific person with specific qualities. This is definitely the case when you call and give me a timeline of a few days to find an extra clean Bullitt at a certain price. I am sorry you are frustrated but these are policies that we put in place to cover our butts after getting our noses bloodied by not having these policies in place. Posts like yours above make me feel bad a little, because I would really like to help every person that calls and make them happy... but then I realize that that really isn't possible.
Just out of curiousity, would you have dropped everything you were doing, every other deal, spent all your time finding a car for someone, spent the $13-15000, all on three phone call over a two day period?

ugh no you idiots i know that you require a deposit before you get the vehicle but one told me that ya'll would need a 1000 dollar deposit just to start looking,,thats why i said fuck that, customer satisfaction is not what ya'll are going for i guess . sorry you mis read my post .. and yes keep a watch on this thread

I am not going to look without the intention of buying, yes we require a deposit to start seriously looking for exactly what you want, the next step would have been to fill out an AutoConnector form and put down a deposit with a timeline. You tell us what you want, we find it, thats how it works, thats our policy. if the car is not what we agreed upon then money back. Pretty straight forward. Once again, I do apologize if this is not ideal customer service by your standards, in any case thank you for your time and opinions. Take care.
