can touch Lil Wayne, 50's CD is decent, Kanye's is better in my opinion. Lyrically, I think Kanye is a better artist, but 50 makes tracks that sell.

But when it comes down to it, neither of them can touch what The Carter III will do.
Weezy's mixtapes are better than most of the shit thats out now.

"hip hop" is, to simply put it, whack. rapping bout new dance moves, what kind of car i drive, how many stacks i got, who the new bird i fucked, etc. that shit aint music nor do i consider it rap. hell i could come up with some stupid flows about getting dressed in the morning before going to work. theres no effort now adays. gimmie the old shit before '97.

I agree rap/hip hop is in the shitter and has been and pimp c is right when he went off on all the one hit wonders and fake rappers.

BUT you gotta take what the industry's putting out, and right now Weezy is in my opinion on the top in his own right and don't see anyone taking him down anytime soon.
