I can't quite decide if my strong dislike for the Eagles is stronger or weaker than my strong dislike for Brett Favre. :(

I feel exactly the same.
But, McNabb+Eagles+Eagles Fans is worse than Favre+Packers Fans.

wtf is wrong with Brett Favre? He's old. Yeah, he was pretty good, but he's old, and I'm sick of hearing about how great he is.

Favre is the man, let him get his record, and he'll bow out gracefully

You must really be a fan, because that was a beating to watch. Two bad QB's, on teams with no running games. Favre can muster 2 offensive FG's...he should have left 3 years ago...

Anyone else think Donovan might have come back a bit too early? Under 50% passing for the day.
They say the ACL takes at least a year to recover from, if not more, and it definately hasn't been a year yet. Carson Palmer is just now getting back to where he was before his knee injury and that was almost 2 years ago.
It sure looked like he was limping pretty badly after that game.

dfwstangs has always been full of Favre haters! like matt said, let the guy get his records and he will bow out...just like all of you would do if you were in the same situation. the guy is still a top 10 qb and stats prove that.
on another subject, what do you guys think about that badass mason crosby? :D

Sorry, but a 54% completion percentage day doesn't equate to being a Top-10 QB as of right now. Funny how everyone harps on VY for having a bad completion percentage last year, but two of the most notable QB's in the league right now both had poor % days.
Again, any established QB that has a near 1:1 TD/INT ratio over a 3 year span needs to hang it up because they are forcing throws they can no longer make.
Mason Crosby was the best kicker in that draft and the Cowboys are fucking stupid to not have taken him.

you call brian westbrook no running game? hes one of the most versatile backs in the game, i think he had over 2000 combined yards last season.

Favre is a gunslinger and always has been, hes never been a high completion guy...and to boot we have not had the best receiving corps the last few seasons either. no one is harping on vince young, so quit being sooo defensive...with saying that, vince will never be what favre is. :D

Out of the 17 seasons Favre has played, 10 of those have been 60+% seasons. He had 5 straight before last season. He HAD accuracy.
The WR argument is somewhat legit, but he still threw quite a few picks with better guys.
VY and Favre are two different types of players and I don't expect VY to try and be like Favre. I'm just saying that I find it funny people harped on that fact, but failed to realize other established players had the same problems last season and with better players.

There is a huge difference between McNabb and Favre...Favre is good. McNabb is a media darling that just doesn't have the ability to match up to the hype.
