Held TCU to 3 offensive points. It was a defensive 1st half, but its opened up a bit now. Still, ABC cuts over to better games all the time.

Just got home from this game, and it was the craziest game I have ever attended(other than the Independence Bowl in a blizzard). It was a rollercoster of emotions to say the least. I was sitting 1st row in The Zone, a great seat. Got a few good pics as well. Much respect to Fresno State as well as their coach Pat Hill. That was a hard fought game on both ends. BTW, Fran needs to be euthanized........

I was at the game and it was brutal. We looked solid in the first half, 19-0, D only gave up 1 first down and like 80 yards of total offense. But after the fumble opening the second half we just fell apart.

We were very fortunate to come away with a win. Our passing game is still a concern and is beginning to really piss me off. We haven't attempted a pass longer than about 15 yards all season. You have got to take some chances down the field. Fran needs to quit worrying about making mistakes and take some chances. Martellus and Kerry Franks are both capable of opening up the field with their speed and ability. Aggies need to get their stuff together. We play LA-Monroe next week at home before hitting the road against Miami. If we can't throw the ball atleast a little to open up the running game then Miami will be very tough to beat.

I'm trying to stay positive but Fran is making it very tough. I still think we have excellent potential. Whether it gets realized is completely up to Fran.

A&M isn't a passing team. They are a option team and that is what they are built to do. McGee can hit the 5-yard slants and other short throws, but he doesn't have the arm to go deep and they don't have the WR corps to do that either.

Your boys were definately lucky to get out of that one with a 'W'

Fran is the problem. The playcalling is so bland. Im a fan of the option, and we run it well, but at some point you must stretch the field. Fresno State started to cheat their safties up in the second half cause they knew Fran would not go over the top on them. McGee was a great passing QB at Burnet, just ask Jordan Shipley. He can throw the ball, but 5 yard outs and slants are all that seem to be called. I agree our recievers are a question mark, but Bennet could be a huge factor in streching the field with his skills as well as the speedy Kerry Franks. But like you said, a win is a win.......even if we only passed for 79 yards and the game went 3 OT's...........
