I know I can't be the only one that finds at least a little humor in the "Pride vs UFC" promotion of Rampage vs Hendo, right? Sorry, but Rampage made his name in Pride and is still a "Pride guy" to most. He was Pride when the Pride vs UFC debate was at it's height. I'm sure some UFC huggers will claim his win over Hendo as proof that UFC > Pride. Unification belt? Great. Champion vs Champion? Sure. Pride vs UFC? Not so much...IMO of course.

I'm a huge Hendo fan, but I want to see him takeover the MW division, so I'm pulling for Rampage. If Hendo wins, I'm fine with that too really...

I also think we'll see the old Crocop, with a twist. I have a feeling he'll take Kongo down and pound him out.

I think Alexander will be exposed as a fluke.

I hope we get to see Silva vs Drwal.

Fedor was mentioned and shown (clip of him vs Crocop) on Countdown to UFC 75 last night (replays tonight if you missed it)...another good sign that his signing is a done deal. Same thing happened with Big Nog...they started talking about him and boom, he was signed. They don't mention fighters outside of the UFC normally. Regardless, he'll be at the event pushing Affliction with Randy...(that just sounds insane...lol)

Crocop appears to be both humbled and pissed about losing. He's also opening up to the UFC fans by participating in the countdown show. Remember how he was before his first 2 fights? They could barely get him to do any interviews or anything...didn't even show up for the press conf.

Giving the win to Bisping was a blatant ripoff. Hammill won that match and that is all there is too it! They want to keep one of their UFC poster boys (Bisping) on a winning streak and it would not look good if Hammill won which he actually did.

Hammill was pummeling Bisping in the standup and Bisping could not do anything about it! Hammill won the first two rounds with Bisping only doing a little something in the closing seconds of round 3! :mad:

YEp..Like stated above. Matt was a little tired by round 3 but thats about all.He even rocked Bisbing in the 1st round,several take downs in the 2nd.. The only thing going for Bisbing was he looked more energetic.

From the beginning CroCop looked like he mailed it in. Hamill got screwed, even the Brit's booed the decision. UFC is going the same way as boxing....the fix is on and that fucktard Dana White allows it!

Bispin should have been embarassed to accept the decision. Hamill was gracious in defeat...damn that sounds terrible!

Until, that is, the scores were announced. And though the hometown boy, Bisping, won a split decision, more than half those in the crowd booed the decision lustily.Judge Chris Watts gave all three rounds to Hamill, scoring it 30-27. But judges Cecil Peoples and Jeff Mullen scored it 29-28 for Bisping. I had it 30-27 for Hamill, believing his takedowns and his standup were the difference.

In the first round, Hamill's standup was surprisingly effective. He bloodied Bisping's nose and cut him by the left eye. He also took him down repeatedly.


Bisping never mounted any consistent offense, though he did manage to connect with his jab more in the final two rounds.


The two were heated enemies from their time together on Season Three of The Ultimate Fighter and both talked big prior to the fight.

But the fight didn't live up to the heat and what fight there was seemed to be provided by Hamill.

Most fights I see hold all kinds of glory to the takedown when it comes to judging points. If that is the case Hamil should have been scored the winner 30-27. He got robbed that is for sure. I saw the fight as Hamil 29-28. All I know is me and my dad were laughing during the whole 1st round be cause Hamil was wiping the floor with Bisping, at will. Hamil reminded us of Baby Huey.

Cro-Cop... I was disapointed with. But, atleast he didn't get ko'd. He seems to have some mental issues after he got ko'd. I think his next fight will be better.

I went to bed pissed and woke up pissed off about that fight. I even watched it again Sunday morning and theres just no way Hamill lost that fight. I had a $50 bet against my friend for Hamill, and afterwards he told me not to even pay him because he knows Bisping didnt win that fight.

Matt showed fucking amazing composure and maturity in his post fight comments! Most young fighters would have been going fucking ballastic after being ass raped out of the decision like he was. I liked Matt ever since I first saw him on TUF, I mean who doesnt like him? He has the whole underdog thing going for him and despite being deaf he has a genuine presence about him ( in and out of the ring ) that just makes him very likeable. That being said, in the long run getting cheated out of the victory just might hold to be a blessing for him. Maybe he will go back and work even that much harder at his stand up and ground game, work on finishing fights so they wont end up in the judges hands!

Cro Cop was a huge disappointment. 8( He looked like he was gun shy, every time congo moved his foot cro cop was thinking "high kick" and got skiddish. As bad ass as he is ( or maybe was ) I honestly dont feel like the kick ass cro cop of days past will ever return.

Rampage??? what was his story?? Usually rampage looks like a man possesed! He looks so intense like after beating his opponent to a bloddy pulp he will jump from the ring and devour the first small child he comes across! That fire and intensity was nowhere to be seen and in my opinion he was lucky to have left the arena with his title in tact.
