NEW YORK (CNN) -- Mexican President Felipe Calderon Sunday demanded the United States surrender its sovereignty, abandon the rule of law and accede to Mexico's inherent supremacy.

Lou Dobbs says Mexican President Felipe Calderon is showing "blatant hypocrisy" on immigration.

In his state of the union address to the Mexican nation, Calderon established his imperialistic imperatives: "I have said that Mexico does not stop at its border, that wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico. And, for this reason, the government action on behalf of our countrymen is guided by principles, for the defense and protection of their rights."

They should really reconsider the policy against whacking leaders of foreign countries. Apparently this shitdick and Hugo Chavez need to share a shallow grave.

I'm sure that the State of Texas itself could still muster an Army of untrained citizens in 3 weeks that could roll all the way to Mexico City and burn his "supremecy" to the ground in less than a month. I'll bet we would have half of Mexico on our side in the first week and the other half the following week.

I'd like to see a transcript of his speech. The only quote was, "I have said that Mexico does not stop at its border, that wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico. The tone of the whole article sounds like an embellishment to me.

Look at mexicos policy concerning illegals and compare that to what they want the US to do. It's totally one sided, and I do believe that mexico fully intends to continue to "invade" the US with illegals with full mexican government support and knowledge. We need someone with the stones to secure the border and tell the mexican president to piss up a rope. The US holds the cards in this game.

The ‘Reconquista’—Mexico’s Dream of ‘Retaking’ the Southwest

Some Mexicans and Mexican-Americans want to see California, New Mexico and other parts of the United States given to Mexico. They call it the “reconquista,” Spanish for “reconquest,” and they view the millions of Mexican illegal aliens entering this country as their army of invaders to achieve that takeover. To an extent, they also have actual armed soldiers of the Mexican army, along with mercenaries from North Korea, Russia and other communist or former communist lands, and have already fired upon American Border Patrol officers and terrorized American ranchers. Shockingly, certain politicians in America are willing to sell out to the Mexicans. Here we consider the background to this disturbing development.

The rest of it is HERE (http://www.barnesreview.org/The__Reconquista_-Mexico_s_Dre/the__reconquista_-mexico_s_dre.html)
Its mostly a history lesson.

I have heard that Mexico teaches that the land was taken illegally and that they are working to reoccupy the land taken by the US. I don't have any proof to back this up though. Sorry guys, but I will continue to look.

First use it as our nations' dump, burn it clear, and seed it with several million land mines. Then give it back, after seizing their oil assets of course.

We could just hire a bunch of the illegals that are already here to go back and take over.... in fact, we could probably just hire 'em to stay there and take over... and honestly, it wouldn't cost that much.

I guess ignorance IS bliss. Governments exist to control people and people in government will say and do anything to come into the position of such power. After they're in, they act on their REAL agenda. Takes easily impressionable individuals who are full of themselves that don't realize that they are only only a small part of the whole world to act like they're untouchable and invulnerable to foreign forces to boldly make ignorant comments such as the ones posted in this thread. If only one race was to become predominant in this world, that race would exterminate itself faster than an outside threat would. Everybody is mortal regardless of their arrogance and feelings of greatness. I guess that is why the governments keeps the existence of extra-terrestrials a secret since most residents of this country would see them as a threat and would try to overtake them with a few untrained volunteers from Texas. Every dog has its day. There has to be a greater picture than the United States of America vs. the rest of the World.

Actually the U.S. has many friends through the world, blind boy. Since you seem to be an open borders, one-world kind of guy, what sort of actions have you ever taken to save the planet? Did you volunteer any of your time this year to help the less fortunate across the border in Juarez, or in the colonias in south Texas? Did you take any Katrina evacuees into your home in their time of need two years ago? You sound like you might have a bright future in the U.N., where words speak louder than action.

I'm a native Texan and a Republican. My family also did business with W while he was with the Rangers. That being said, I am in favor of controling our borders. The economic impact would effect everyone if we didn't. However, I think the only real solution is to make it where Mexicans don't want to leave their country. I think we have to do more to help their economy to have any type of real solution. It's not a quick, easy, or a popular solution so I don't expect politicians to get behind it.

We have to have allies. I wouldn't go too far calling them friends, oh enlightened one. I am not for open borders and agree on SOME of the laws and bills being passed to help protect this country of ours. I have not actively participated in any of your favorite activities mentiones above. But when the time comes and we have to defend this country even from the "friends" you think we have, you can bet I will do everything humanly possible to keep us safe(that includes you). Maybe you should be in the U.N. since you seem better informed of their pre-requisites.

Mexico has major border control issues themselves. Their are over 30 million people in nearby countries that make less than Mexicans and would love to migrate to improve their lives. Guatemala is the biggest and we've got a million or so of them here already, most claiming refugee status. No telling how many are in Mexico already.

Then you've got El Salvadaor, Hoduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Costa Rica isn't any better and their president is friendly with the commies. Let him, Hugo Chavez and Fidel start waving their swords and there is no telling how many more refugees Mexico might see.
