The polls crack me up. You had some teams win close games (UT for example) or at least closer than they should've been and then some blowouts (OU for example). It looks like the polls are going back to the days of rewarding blowouts instead of just wins. What will be curious to see is that if the two teams mentioned above for example reverse roles this week -- UT blows the spread out of the water and OU wins solidly, but not in a blowout. Will they reshuffle again? I personally don't think they should even have a poll until after 6 weeks.

OU played UAB close last year & dropped because of it, same happened to UT this year, no biggie.

There it is.

Probably because everyone expected it, unlike Mich falling completely off the charts...it wasn't that remarkable of a move.

I will go ahead and put this out there before venom can, but I think auburn and arkansas are both ranked higher than they should be right now. arkansas out side of jones and mcfadden had no life vs lowly troy. and auburn needs to find something, hell anything that looks like a Offense. got hope LSU wins out, cause unless ark d and qb start to show up they will lose 3 or 4 games.

Arkansas did have some trouble in their first game, but talent alone wasn't going to let them lose that game. The Alabama game may be a different story.

I thought Auburn played well against Okie. St. Everyone and their brother was all over them to be the big player in the South this year, but again turned out to be just 'average' Auburn is over-ranked, but Arkansas is a 20's team for now.

Statements like these are exactly why people think you are simple minded. Do you really think 23-13 being owned? Especially seeing that the score was 13-16 until 1:11 left in the game . Also OSU at GA 35-14 is exactly owning them either seeing that GA was ranked 13th playing at home against unranked opponent. If you would have said the Big 12 got owned by loosing two games to the SEC I could understand but there was clearly no domination in those games last weekend.

Georgia put it on late. It was only 21-14 at halftime. Georgia did an excellent job of containing Bowman and only allowing 4 catches for 65 yards and a TD.

Georgia pretty much punched a hole in the theory that Okie St. was going to be a contender this season. Same old mediocre team.
