Unfortunately they still have their helmets. I'm wearing my Dragon's Skin body armor to the game on Saturday. :)
This might have been posted, but this is the first I've seen it.
They should bring those to Dallas for the Red River shootout too...with all the horns being arrested lately.

Can you really knock a place off the map by swinging your helmet at it?
Miami's QB better show up this week if they want to stay in the game.

Nah. They all smoke pot to offset side effects of Paxil, so they are justified by possessing marijuana.
Just thought I'd go ahead and answer for Venom.

I’m pulling for the U, mostly because I don’t like OU. Plus, it makes for good reading when Thug U is in the hunt. OU will probably kick their ass though; I don’t think their offense is good enough to keep up with OU.

LOL, if OU fans think they are going to walk all over Miami like they did North Texas, they have some serious disappointment coming on Saturday.
Miami may not have as much big name talent as years past, but Randy Shannon is going to have those guys ready to play. Miami has speed to burn on defense and isn't going to just run a single base defense with shitty players like North Texas did.
I think this will be a really good game to watch. I think Miami sneaks one out here in Norman.

Time to head up to Norman. This should be a great game start to finish, so I'm pumped!

21-10 OU at half. If not for a fumble recovery for a TD by OU, this is a REALLY close game. The momentum definately swung over to Miami after an extended drive at the end of the 2nd Quarter for a TD.
Why Kyle Wright didn't start this game is beyond me. Much better than Freeman.

At least Miami was consistant in the first half...couldn't throw, catch, run, or tackle. Talk about inept. QB change at half-time looks to be a good move.

I'm more impressed by that win than the North Texas win.
Miami simply didn't have enough gas in the tank to keep it close in the 2nd half. Major penalties and poor single coverage killed them.
However, I think OU fans might be concerned with the fact that their run game really didn't get after it. 44 carries for only 119 yards combined. The passing game made up for that today.
OU has a pretty easy track up to the RRS now.

OU played with a lead today just tryin to run the clock down.. against a Known Opponent..
so 37 carries and 129 yards is just that much better huh? Against Ark State... hahahaha

miami isnt quite the elite program it used to be but they arent slouches either.
id say the qb questions have been answered. running game isnt the best but better than most had thought post peterson.
if texas can pick it up it looks to be yet another awesome red river showdown next month.

Was I wrong about the final score? Yes.
However, it sure didn't look like OU was going to pull away like they did going into halftime. They looked happy to get off the field with the lead.
OU has looked alot more impressive in their 1st two games than I thought they would be. Whether that is playing well or playing soft teams is still up for debate. They really don't have anyone to test them until they play Texas so I guess we'll have to wait till then.

wait the fuck up, so the canes ran out of gas but when ark played usc they just got out played. I told you stick to your arguement and don't switch and here you are doing it again. nate you really need to get some help I think you have sucked on bevo's balls long enough it is time to step back and open your eyes to what is really going on.

So you are now comparing Arkansas to Miami now? How about you actually win a conference championship first before you even start to make those types of comparisons.
Arkansas got into USC territory only one time in the 1st half against USC. They got outplayed and OWNED.

try and switch the arguement all you want, you fucked up, you just used the same arguement I used last year with the usc ark game, but the difference here is that the ark d had to play almost 80% of the game due to the turnovers. if not for that ark had a real good shot at beating USC. The canes just stopped playing, that or OU is really that freaking good. Nate you really need to learn how to argue or at least stick to one type of arguement no matter if it helps or hurts your team.

I didn't switch anything. Go look at the freakin drive logs like I did. Arkansas had 6 drives in the 1st half and 3 of those ended up being 3 and out punts, 2 were turnovers, and one was a TD. They couldn't move the ball at all in the 1st half at all. Miami had at least some success moving it and wore them down with that long ass drive to end the half. Your boys got outplayed all game long and on both sides of the ball.
Miami showed flashes during this game on both sides of the ball, but they never could capitalize on the momentum they had for a short period of time.

Chris, USC had the ball for 17+ minutes in that 1st half, ran 43 plays to Arkansas' 29, and still managed to rack up nearly 200 1st half offensive yards despite the fact your boys turned it over in their own end of the field twice.
That game was over before it started. Miami had a shot at this game, but let it slip away after not capitalizing on their momentum they had gained going into halftime.

yet they were still in the game with 3 to's in the 1st half on their side of the field. you don't know shit about football, with the VT talk and this game, proves, yet again, you only see what you want to see. you should have gone to law school, you would have been fun to watch in court arguing your point right or wrong but still arguing because you believe it.
nate you know we are cool, hell I let you do a burn out in my car, but you need to start looking at other teams with an open mind and not this team vs UT. all you do is bury yourself with your flip flopping on your arguements to fit your arguement.

I don't call being comletely outplayed, outgained, and outscored as being "in the game." At least Miami was able to create turnovers and keep themselves in the game during the 1st half and have OU wanting to just get into the locker-room to regroup. USC's control in the game against Arkansas was never, ever in question.
I watch lots of teams each week and I see who they play and how they play just like everyone else has the ability to. Some on here go off of just their own blind opinions and idiocy. I however actually watch the games as well as use multiple information resources to formulate my own opinions.
If anyone is known for "flip-flopping" on here it would be Pro Trash or you. Again, I've provided multiple examples of you doing this, but you've never once provided an example of me doing it and you won't be able to because I don't.
