leave out the MMA part and I will agree with you. Sapp is a monster theres no arguing that, but surely you watched the video you posted?? I dont know about anybody else but I sure didnt see a whole lot of technique in that video to warrant calling him an MMA monster, not discounting the fact that the majority of those guys were half his size of less. Kimbo, wether you like him or not, was rather impressive in his MMA debut and I think he will make Sapp earn his payday for once.

I dont think Sapp ever was anything special. Yeah he had size and his punches hurt, but that was in the first 30 seconds of the first round. After that he gassed and the rest of the fight was a beat-down. Bob Sapp is just simply too big and too slow. Kimbo would probably destroy Sapp.

I hope Kimbo is really catching on to his training, otherwise he's gonna get beatdown. Before his training he was really one dimensional and will continue to be for quite sometime until his training becomes second nature. Once under pressure, a fighter always returns to what they know by instinct.

Go back and look at all of Kimbo's videos. You'll notice he punches with his elbows down below his fists utilizing his Lat muscles in in his back. Very rarely does he throw anything over hand/shoulder. He habitually chambers in his hands at rib cage/higher abdominal area. His head is completely exposed as well are his straight up and down boxer's legs. These are things that all can be fixed, but he will fall back to his habits when severely pressured. Eventually, he will fight someone that isn't intimidated by him, with some skill and expose him for the street thug he is.

Exactly... he is very picky on who he fights. As of late, though, his confidence is up so high, he just might get into the ring with anyone. His walk forward-punch technique is simple, yet very effective. One of the most effective styles in a real world atmoshpere. You just gotta realize that you'll have to take a few to get in. I don't see him changing his style. Adding to it, maybe (like those weak knees LOL), but not changing it.

Those other fights just don't count at all, it was strictly a standup match, bare knuckle boxing at it's best. his first mma debut, he was thrown in the ring. I'm sure now he's realizing how much more a well rounded fighter can do. But you still can't say he's got no skill, the guy is a beast with his hands.

If he ever makes it to the UFC, he'll face a lot of fighters who arent intimidated by him. I wouldnt mind seeing him matchup against CroCop. Man CroCops been in some wars with guys bigger than him...

Personally I think Kimbo should train for another year or longer before he attempts to fight some real MMA fighters. Limited knowledge in MMA will be exposed quick in the UFC. Just like C.Kongo's last fight.
