I have the opportunity to buy a mini14 from a pawn shop for $400 which is a pretty good price. Does anyone have pics of aftermarket acc. Thanks in advance.

No aftermarket pics but there is a lot of stuff available for it. That price is a STEAL....you better get it quick!

The Ranchhand I loved mine. Simple, not to heavy, well made, plenty of aftermarket,

and shot strait as an arrow. At that price you should scoop it up quick.

They aren't the most accurate platform in the world, being based on an M1 carbine, but for most people they are as accurate as the shooter.

Good rifle.

I had a Stainless Steel folding stock Mini 14 that I loved. Should have never gotten rid of it. Ya it's not as accurate as an AR but I still loved it.

Aren't those the A team guns?

I don't think they ever shot anyone in that show.

A friend had one. Looks cheap and not very accurate.

They make an accurized model now. But the base technology of the gun isn't as accurate as other platforms.

Pretty thin barrel for semi-auto.

.223 ammo is cheap for plinking.

I love mine, its a great shooting gun. Not sure what everyones deal is with accuracy, I have never had a problem with getting a tight group. I just hear that a lot, when Mini 14 comes up in a conversation.

My dad got me a Mini-14 for around $400. It's a great gun when I'm at the ranch spot lighting or just target practicing. Seems you have to get a feel for it. My dad and brother couldn't hit squat for a while at first, but once I got behind the gun I already knew how to aim. They caught on though.

I don't dislike them, I just don't like them enough to own one.

I had one, didn't much care for it. Had I kept it I would have ended up modifying it, but by the time you get it in the ballpark of a better rifle you have more money in it than the better one.
