Well i had to qual for M-16 today and i failed. During the practice round i set the sights from normal to night(the bigger round sight in case you didn't know) for the gas mask part(cuz someone said it was more accurate). Well i never put it back and failed my ass off. So call me a tard, laugh or whatever you want, I'm a dipshit.
In my case...... well i have no case so flame on.

what was the test for?
I hope your not talking about Basic Training, because if you are, what the hell kind of branch are you in your able to use the internet while doing so?

Not at all. Back in my day; (Army) we could expect a good ass chewing or a boot to the chest if we glanced in a general direction of a PAY-PHONE during Basic. But with AF I guess Its different.

No I'm not in boot camp but surly the Army didn't shoot once in ones carrier. IMO Army needs to qual every 6 months, retards forget easy.

Nope, just assumed since you failed to qualify you we're most likely in basic. No biggie.

No I'm a expert 4x over, i guess you don't know the the M-16A2 well enough to know that you cant hit shit with night sights.

Like i said before, someone said to use nights sights for the gasmask part. It's has only been required for the AirForce for a few years now. The last time i shot with a mask i got a 39 out 50 so i was trying something new and it bit me in the ass. I don't mean to be a dick but im pissest, i own a M-4 and shoot that bitch all the time.

no, you are an unq 1st award. Its not the dope on the weapon, its the dpoe behind the weapon
Its the dumbest part of the test. If I was in MOPP I damn sure am not taking well aimed shots. I am laying cover fire and trying to get my ass out of the AO.

What bring my gas mask home and head to Winchester, what an idiot i would look :o . I'm not due to till January but i will be in OIF so i'll be back at the range soon.

Rookie mistake!!! I don't see how you would not notice the difference. That sight is never more accurate, just so you know for the future.

You'd have to be Mr. Magoo on a bad day, to fail the CHL qualifying...though I have seen it. ;)

I thought expert in the chairfarce was being able to pick your gun up and get slung over your shoulder before your jeep picked you up.... Surely they don't give you guys live ammo.

LMFAO. I know you guys don't shoot that often but don't you mark your shots and plot them during qual? Your groupings had to be 8ft wide with night sights. How do you not notice that your rear sight aperture is like 4x the size it normally is? If you can shoot expert 4x and not know your weapon (NOT GUN) well enough to know your on the wrong sights the Air Force needs to evaluate their training and requirements. Good luck with the requal. And pay attention to the details this time!

I own one and know it very well but it wasn't my day. I fliped it to nights sights for the gasmask part a 1/4 of the way threw and i guess with the time limits and not paying attention i never noticed.
3 Marines in the class and one of them got expert.....true story.

How is that? We shoot different courses? You guys are no where near the ranges we shoot and we don't qual with gas masks on, we do fam fires with gas masks.

Sorry, EX marines who are now in my unit. At NAS JRB Ft Worth there were a few dozen Marines reservist shooting on the same range we were. If i remember from your posts, your a Marine reservist at Carswell. Have you been to the Navy range yet?

No we go to BFE. FYI they are still Marines they just wear gay uniforms now. :p

It's the same gay ass uniform the core use to wear but it's not nearly as gay at the new AF uniform :(

I guess you didn't read the the part were i said i witched from normal to night because some jackass said you hit the target better with nights. Gasmask part is new to use.

This was the first time for me to shoot with a Gaskmask so yeah i was taking the advice from someone who teaches the class. Get it now

If it kept me at the range shooting free ammo I would be throwing rounds all over the place. Of course when I was in I quald everytime, first time. It sucked watching others go and go and go and go. I really wanted to do that just one time and be able to shoot all day long. You will get the next go round, unless you want to do more free shooting and get paid for it. Just a thought.
