Speaking of .22lr's......has anyone done any LONG range shooting with a .22. Me and a buddy used to shoot at a metal beam that was ~500 yards across a small valley with our .22's. Its fun times to see what you can hit out that far, especially when you are dealing with about 10ft of holdover!! Also have done some 100yard shooting with my .45 Kimber and Glock 27. Was shooting at a refidgerator......could put every shot on target with the Kimber, the short little glock was alittle harder ;)

I shot some in the rimfire class, that is a 22 handgun out to 100. The targets are a little smaller than a paper plate, and you have to hit them pretty solid to knock them over. The most common guns used where Browning Buckmarks and Ruger MkIIs, with a good assortment of high end guns thrown in. I never bought my own 22 so I didn't get into it much.

ok, i imagined all of it? i am not a big gun person so i could not even began to say what kinda of gun it was. but, i do remember somebody talking about it was against some treaty for a sniper to shoot somebody with this gun, but you could shoot objects, and if that object just happend to be on a person, to bad so sad.

Sounds like you're looking for a vid of someone shooting some .50bmg rifle variant.

And for the record, there's no rules on not being able to kill anyone with a .50bmg and that whole aim for the vehicle or building etc. That's all bullshit. You can kill any agressor/enemy/whore you want with a .50bmg as much as you can with 5.56.
