I was out on the lake a couple weeks ago and I saw this guy that had a home made ice chest with a cd player. It was really cool. It had 2 or 3, 6x9's on the top and a cd play or ipod it was playing off. I am guessing a car battery was on the inside. Anyways, I really want to put something like this together. I searched around on the net but everything was to commercial or a smaller ice chest. I want to get a mid sized igloo or something. If any one has ever made one of these or has any ideas, post up!

This one was made to go on an ATV... It uses an MP3 player going to a small amp with a component speaker setup. This has some custom crossovers etc, but you go with some cheapo coaxials and 50watt x 2 amp and it will rock. The only real difference is you will need some batteries

Helped my bro make one for his river trip last year. Had a decent size ice chest, 2 8'' loudspeakers and 2 tweeters, bike battery, amp from walmart(aobut 100$), y-RCA to plug in your mp3 player into amp. Result....BADASS ICE CHEST.

Here's mine that I built back in '02. I got in a hurry w/ the wiring but it works great and sounds awesome as well. I used marine 2-ways, a cheapo cd head unit and a motorcycle gel cell.
