View Full Version : The Beast should be Running tomorrow!

Hoping all turns out well.Those who dont know i went to from vortec heads and small cam to aluminum heads and nitrous cam.Results was 0.50 and 5 mph slower.So i went back to the vortec heads and kept the cam and also added longtube headers but tried to install those headers today and found out they wont work with the after market mount plates for the engine.I reinstalled the shorty headers just so i can be ready saturday.I found a set of super comp hooker headers that might work but dont know if i want to spend the extra money they want.Last time i went to ennis i ran on motor and went 12.76 at 106 mph.Im going to have to bump the button a couple of times to get close to that 12.50 class.

Well it looks kinda slow to me, my inner fender pannels where dropped off this morning. They look good with the flames on the inside of the engine bay. Didnt want to but it looks like I am going to be pulling some all nighters to get this thing back together in time for the race.

Any updates on the 2 huricanes in the gulf that are supposed to hit Friday?
