Pretty much the first 1080p/24 & 120HZ motion on the market.
It has an absolutely stunning pic. I've had it for about 1.5 days and just kinda luckily ran into it.

It's this TV:

If anyone is in the market, do yourself a favor and take a look at this one when it hits the shelfs shortly. If you need a BB coupon for 10-12% off, let me know.

Wishful thinking..though, it is pretty cool to say that I'm probably the first consumer in America with this TV in their home.

So how did you get it before it was available?
SXRD DLP FTW. Damn. That was a lot of acronyms.
Super nice TV Grant. My buddy has a 60" SXRD that's about three years old and we watched some Planet Earth on it Saturday...un-fucking-believable.
Enjoy it dude.

Luck - I called the BB guy to ask when they were going to release them, because I normally buy from Fry's. He said, 'right now', i called BS a couple of times, went in, paid for it and picked it up from their distribution center in Flower Mound. Everyone including myself didn't think they'd be available until late August/1st of September.
Basically just being bored. They are the only place in DFW that even have them in their warehouse, according to everyone I called prior to them. The guy also said they don't plan to put them on the showroom for another 2-3 weeks. Amazon/Sony says they won't ship until end of August/first of September.

Technically not a DLP, but comparable to a DLP.

SXRD is not a DLP. Not even close.
The SXRD is a LCoS TV.
