manny went 6.4x's stock motor, not sure about the heads though. this is with the IRS and 6 speed.

600+rwhp on pump gas is typical for twin screw 03-04 Cobras and obviously there are a shitload of those running around and you don't hear about them blowing up. Whoever you're talking to is a retard.

I know for a fact they are capable of handling 1000+ if you keep them detonation free. They wont last for ever though. The wrist pins start to make racket after some high hp abuse. Manny's stock long block took a lot of abuse on the 30psi setting.

Well, for every bar of boost the best you can gain is what the motor would make N/A assuming no restrictions, so you can figure 30 psi at best would make 3x what the motor would N/A. So not so bad for a little 281.

1 bar i believe is 12.7 psi

1 bar of boost is 14.7 psi relative. 14.7 psi will double N/A performance, 29.4 psi will triple it in a perfect world. Keep in mind that the blower takes power to turn and the motor won't be run on the ragged edge.

Its just time to finally fix the poor oil/radiator fluid eater...

Hopefully it's not too much to fix it up like new. Still unsure about porting the heads, but I am definitely getting the valve springs and lifters upgraded... It wont rev over 6200 right now. :( :(

All I have is a 31 tooth blower pulley... you would want a 77 or 80 tooth crank pulley and a 28 or 30 tooth blower pulley with that blower...

7000 * 80 / 30 * 3.45 = 64,400 blower rpm... right under max. Oughtta make some power!

It did, it was making in the 880 range on that day. But as time went on the boost controller was getting turned up a little more. He just added the 30psi setting when we put the stock motor back in months ago.

According to that math, my 8 inch blower pulley in my kitchen will do the same thing... :o I'll try that first, if it doesn't pop, I'll go cog on the new setup if there is any blower slip.
