Where in chicago did you live?
Naperville. Right off Route 59 on 88 going west towards Aurora I was about 5 mins from Fox Valley Mall. I have family in Lombard & Elmhurst & Plainfield.
Where are you from up there?
Talk about a small world.

Naperville is a nice place. I have a cousin that lives there, an uncle in geneva, lots of relatives from Dekalb, Sycamore and some in the city. I was just up there for a family reunion not too long ago.
The eisenhower (I think that's it - 90/94 on the south side I beleive) was FUBARed with construction so I got to drive on Halsted from 95th up to downtown. Fun stuff! At least it was during the daytime...
what would cause it to take a sharp left like that?
broke axle?

Yeah I thought the Eisenhower was 290 I think 290 runs East & West with 290 dead ending in to the Lake or Downtown right as the Hwy goes through the Post Office. I know 90 turns in to 290 & 94 is for the North Suburbs of Chicago & is up in the North part of Chicago running North & South. Then 294 runs North & South. But more lower down from Chicago in the West suburbs for that area.
I hated all the fucking Tollways & having to pay tolls. There are no free roads to drive on in Chicago.
But I will say this. Chicago beats any shit Dallas has. They have more shit to do
Taste Of Chicago
Ventians Fest
Blues Fest
Then there is so many different Nationalitys up there. Italians & Irish & Greeks & YES EVEN MESICANS TOO :D But with all the Different Nationalitys they always have some sort of party for there only little thing.
Then they have all the Suburbs who have their own partys in the summer. Not to mention all the Car shows that all the Suburbs have too. I know Elemurst & lombard & Wheaton have some badass carshows. I did Car stuff 7 days a week when I lived there in the summer.
But then FUCKING OLD MAN WINTER COMES & the city goes to frozen hell for 6 months.
Thus why I am here in Dallas now. THAT IS WHY I MOVED HERE TOO, The weather here is great. It rarely rains here. Of course this summer has sucked. But you could never race in Chicago in Dec. You can race all year here. :D

My second cousins are the McKee's... they play bagpipes in the st. patrick's day parades up there.
I lived in Champaign/Urbana for a couple years going to school, and went to Chicago to hang out with my cousins on the weekends. They lived in Wrigleyville at the time.

I am irish & even have a Clatter ring too. I have heard the name. But there is so many Irish people up there in the northern suburbs there are alot of people that have that last name I am sure. My Moms maiden name is Dooley. My dad is Italian. So I got the both ends of the temper from each of my parents. :(

They live on the south side. I went out with them after the st. patrick's day parades... we went to a couple irish bars and they would come in and play bagpipes and drums and everyone sang along.. good times! Those MFers can drink too!
