I love defcon. When we had it at the Alexis park those 3 years, (was supposed to be five.. heh) the first year there we commandeered the security guard radio freq.. started playing radio on it and they couldn't use it the rest of the weekend. security was forced to use cell phones.

also when BO2k was released that year, grandmaster rat fuckin tore the auditorium up. they threw raw meet with blood and shit on it at people, busted up a speak-n-spell, poured food coloring everywhere, we dumped boxes of bubblebath in all the fountains and hottubs...


man, good times!

i also got to meet mitnick, poulsen, schwarteau, shimomura, emmanuel goldstein (just as weird as lillard in hackers)...
