Yeah, I hear ya. Hell it was in ZF that something dropped that someone wanted real bad. However, lost the roll so he just quit. Quit as in logged. He was the tank, a crappy one but he at least held aggro on 1 mob for a little while.

PUGs suck, but they are about the only way to do things while leveling.

Quel'dorei is a great PvE server to start out on. It is only about 8 months old, it was a TBC server that was created during that release. I've got 6 horde toons on the server.

PvP is great on this server if you are horde because the alliance guys in Emberstorm battle group (which includes this server) just plain suck ass. There is lots of free honor to be had just for showing up and making a half assed effort.

Look up Broncojohnny if you start a character on there, I have alts in every level range.

Got to kill vashj, and al'ar, and everything "below" them. But as a rogue, am I the only one here that thinks we are going to suck hardcore at 80? Face it, we are not a class that scales well (compared to others).
Maybe I should just level a mage, or spriest.

Rogues scale perfectly fine. They top damage meters when properly spec'd and they freaking ridiculously rape in pvp. The only thing about rogues is they are very weapon dependent, however with arena's being simple enough, any rogue can get a bad ass main hand in only 4 or 5 hours a month.

I'm an 'old school' WoW player, i liked how things were before TBC, but its really starting to grow on me now. We've almost beat the game, only have 5 bosses left to kill and were done till the next 25 man. PvP is freaking amazing right now with arenas and they are pretty much instant queues. The game is awesome for casual, medium, and hardcore players, people that cant play more than an hour or two a week shouldn't play MMO's and should stick to mario cart.

We are very gear dependent, but I just don't see my rogue doing the damage my fury warrior was/is capable of. I dunno, I don't like alot of things about the rogue class. But i'm used to playing as a Pally (holy) and a Warrior (fury).
And yeah your right about the dmg meters thing and about the time, luckily lately i've been doing other things and not playing WoW. Taking a much needed break. But it was not uncommon for me to log 20+ hrs a week on this game.

I think mages are the funnest overall class to play so far. Mine is only 51 and I am currently an aoe/frost mage. A lot of utilities that make up for the annoying parts of the game (food, water, teleports...portals) and easy grinding overall. Fairly useful for instances...etc

I had a rogue...got it banned, but I liked it a lot too. My first toon on wow and I was just figuring out how to actually play it. Ah well.

Send me a tell sometime if horde. My mage is only 51 though, but hell...2 somewhat mature people is a good start. My guild left Llane though for the exact same reason you want to. Not enough Horde population to be picky, so they had a bunch of kids that would drop in raids, not make any commitments and otherwise just get geared up and leave the guild. When I'm 70 I'm moving to their server myself.
