Intel Centrino?

Is this a decent processor? longevity & such?

The Centrino is the best mobile processor out there in my opinion. It is the mobile version of the Core Solo, Core Duo, and Core 2 Duo which are the rage right now. They have extremely low power consumption which means much lower heat disipation and great battery life making them extremely good for mobile applications. If you are going to get a laptop I would recommend the Centrino Duo for the dual cores.
