Now I'm all for diplomatic solutions, but come on! Not with Iran. Not under our current conditions with them. Iran openly supports organizations that we have formally labeled terrorist organizations (ect. Hezbollah, Hamas). The administration rejects Iran’s public stance that it is not pursuing nuclear weapons. Hell, President Bush even now publicly saying Iran is directly involved in supporting Iraqi elements fighting US soldiers. I thought the administration had already rejected that Commissions recommendations to engage Iran and Syria is security dialogue.
Why has President Bush allowed this to happen?
Why has the administration reversed it’s stance on directly talking with Iran?
Anyone have good insight on this?
