Probably..
Alot of the guys are going. When they throw something like this we all try and make it.
They dont do alot for bikes in this area so when they do we try and support it as best we can.

I never see ya out there Glenn! You know you need seat time!

Its not the big turbobike anyways, just the same old dry nitrous bike. Went 5.60s at 131 @ 60inches spinning and not shifting 4th gear. I put the rnd trans in there and gonna actually get to see what she does when Im not bouncing the limiter in 3rd lol. Plus its gonna be sitting at 68 with one of coby's new lightweight arms. And I put sebs front end on it. So hopefully I can go a little faster ;)

Yeah, I just swapped out my front end for the pro street set-up. I'm never out there cause I hate the drive, and I don't ever seem to have time unless it's a quick trip over to Redline or Denton. I can be at either of those tracks and unloaded in an hour.

I like K-dale, but it takes me damn near 1.5 hours just to get there. Maybe once 121 is finished it'll be a little better.

I'm going to try and make it on the 28th though.

That should be pretty sick. I may need to come out with my bucket and watch.

I'm out...

New front end(being lower) is causing drain problems for my turbo return line. I got oil shooting out of the turbo.

Never brought a bike to the strip before, I might have to go to K-dale on saturday. See how I do, and hope I don't embarrass myself too bad.

Yeah, I already ordered one. Also ordered the fittings and stuff from Summit.
Just not worth spending another $100 for next day(red label) for everything.

As long as you have fun that is the important thing. Most of the folks out there are really helpful.

I got homeboys multi-stage pretty close. Already back to the times we were at, and he was shifting early early early. 1.40 60fts, 3.74 330's not too shabby for 3 passes on the multi. This was on a shinko too.

That 1.4 60ft is the shit...how far is the bike over?

Nope, Ghotti is not doing anything. I havent seen him since I built him a motor labor free, not even to get the race gas his bike has a tune for. I heard his bikes runnin like crap (no doubt cause hes putting pump in it with an ULT 4 tune), and he got his bike painted and powdercoated. Funny to hear, cause he still owes me 300$ for a clutch and some other stuff. His bike was sitting on the side at kdale on saturday.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't seen him since the last time we were all at K-Dale.

Well, I got it, put it on, and it's still shooting oil out of the compressor housing...
Whole turbo system is disassembled, and the turbo itself was sent in for inspection. :(

did you take off the comp housing and clean it well first?

Blackhawk

I opened up the drain(when I swtiched over the fittings from a -10 to a -8 to put the pump together. Sprayed brake cleaner in there for a few seconds. I also took out the bottom bolt from the backside of the compressor housing and sprayed that out with BC until it ran out clear, and then put everything back together.

Within 30-40 seconds of idling I brought the revs up to around 6000 once or twice and the turbo was drowning in oil already.

I'm thinking the turbo is almost 3 years old and has A LOT of passes on it. Plus, with all the anti-lag I've be using at the line lately. It probably just wore something out.

That anti-lag sure helps out of the hole, but everybody will tell you it's tough on turbos.

Yeah, might just be a seal but your's was a ball bearing turbo right??

Yep, dual bb. But something was happening cause this was all of a sudden an issue. So I just sent it in per Seb's suggestion.

Occasionally, over the past few years I would notice a little drip here or there around the inlet... But this was a ton of oil(probably an 1/8 cup) at a time, and the more I revved the bike the worse it got...

Who knows, Ive seen em so wallowed out the impeller is tearing up the inside of the comp housing. At least you caught it early enough hopefully! Let me know when you get it back
