Not really. :D Props to Eric, and his crew up at Auto Sound Bedford. Took the Murano to him for a Sirius install, and left a whole lot lighter in the wallet. Ended up picking up a Passport 8500 for a GREAT deal as well. Already enjoying the radio, still trying to figure out the radar detector. I really appreciate it. You put the receiver exactly where I wanted it, without hesitation even though it's not the norm.

I'll be back to see you in a few months for the laser jammers, and possibly some subs and an amp. I'll have to figure out a way to carry those and cargo without losing my back seats first. :o

Glad you like it. If you haven't, read the detector manual. Few pages, lots of info. Let me know if you have any questions.

Once again, THANK YOU!!!!

I've been saved from MANY tickets. Coming home from Colorado, I was averaging 97ish mph. Never had a single false alarm. Every time it went off, I had plenty of time to slow down safely and avoid a ticket. Drove up to Sherman on Saturday, and was moving pretty good. Passport went off, and I couldn't find the cop. Fucker was parked parallel between two concrete pillars under a bridge. Had I not had the radar detector, I'd have flown right past him and surely gotten a ticket.

I don't know how I've avoided a ticket so long before getting the detector. I'd go so far as to say it's already paid for itself.

The Sirius was nice, as well. Only time I ever lost a signal or had a bad signal was when I was parked under the awnings, filling up. :D

Glad to hear it! Did you listen to anything other than Sirius on your trip?

Nope. I was forced to listen to Disney Radio (on Sirius) when the kiddo wasn't watching a movie, but that was only on the way up. He rode with my parents on the way back so it was Howard 100, 101, Blue Collar Radio, and all the rock stations on the way back. :D

It really makes trips great. The disney radio would have been a beating though.
