Im excited I am building a common chamber,common port, but with equal loading for the subs. Tuned at around 40hz for a little BOOM.
I am hoping to get into the 140's on the TL in a Lexus so this should do it with the proper enclosure and power.

Im going with 2 of them ported :)
On an xtant 1001x ;) or a sundown 1500d
Cool. But two 8s tuned to 40 hz? Kiss your low end goodbye!
Still would be impressive to do some mid 140s with a pair of 8s. I dare ya!

He definitely could with those! Not my choice for a street setup, but very cool.

DD=Jassa :)
Same Company, I even got them delivered from DD, they just have less "options" :)
Hopefully, I will hit 140's with a high tune, then I will have a daily beater box which will be tuned around 35 hz or a little lower for these.

Looks pretty sweet. Air space looks kinda tight, are they going to be sealed?

Yeah, its selaed..Hard to tell, but the airspace pretty much runs deep into the cavities, and ito the wells. All the panel were cut out to get the mold into the sides to get the airspace we needed. Will be running the Earthquake MAGMA 15's on solid amps. earthquake components, rear 9.2" tv, front Valor 7" tv.

I've heard of them handling even twice that, but they really don't need it. I'm pushing each of mine with a JL 500/1, and they are just brutal.
I've never built a box. I've been building all sorts of other crap lately, though, so I'd be willing to give it a shot.
Well set a Saturday aside, Can use my woodshop, bring your own wood or Ill sell it to ya there at just a small profit, best box gets the nails free.

That's a monster sub, but my setup is geared more towards SQL. Crazy loud, but (for ported 15s) they sound really good, too. It's that same reason that I didn't go with some insane 10 cube box like a lot of people do.
What does that thing weigh?
