American John Hopkins has reportedly signed a letter of intent with Kawasaki's MotoGP team for 2008. Hopkins had once professed that he wanted to spend his entire career with Suzuki--ala Kevin Schwantz--but that sentiment has seemingly passed.

I would rather be with kawi than Suzuki, so I don't blame him. But that's all just rider prefference, it's not like anyone is paying me to ride for them. Dammit :mad: .

it would be interesting to see how he would finish on a competitive bike. he's definately paid his dues with suzuki all these years.
