I've got a good deal on a '03 Mach 460 complete set and wanted to know if anyone knew how easy/hard it would be to install in my 98 Explorer.
Should I just take it over to CarToys and have them do it? It's my DD and the stock sound doesn't cut it for me and I kind of like having the same system in both my cars.
Any tech feedback would be much appreciated.
Let me know, thanks.
Not worth it at all. It's going to be a pain in the butt and not sound any better than stock. And where are you going to mount the rear speaker deck pod thing?

It would be a waste of money to install it, and most "Car Toys" installers would tell you to save the money and just get a new radio, amps and speakers/subs to help you get better sound AND save you money..
.. of course somewhere in the world someone just wants to take your money and do what YOU want them to.. so buyer beware.
