It doesn't hurt that they just got done with inter-league play. If the Rangers played in the NL Central, they might actually do something.

I missed them both but did Rogers get embarrassed by them? Or has he played them yet?
That would be sweet, just like Cordero choking against them.
This is what makes Rangers baseball so much fun. They aren't in it for the series, they just like to fuck with the oddsmakers :D

Rogers was due to pitch today, but it got rained out. Something about a funnel cloud a few miles away from the stadium. Baseball players are such pussies!

Agreed, NFL plays is shitty weather. It's not like the bats are metal or anything.

Baseball's fun to play in the rain, but not so much with lightning or tornadoes around.

Yeah, but I bet a pitcher getting sucked up into a vortex and chunked into the stands would make an ESPN Top 10 play...

Only if he were a member of the Yankees or Red Sox, or were playing against either the Yankees or Red Sox...

That's why you watch baseball, because you want to see the batters get beaned, the pitchers stabbed with pieces of shattered bats, outfielders colliding head on, fights at the plate and fans streaking across the field getting clotheslined by security. Its the same thing with NASCAR, death and destruction are the real draw.

Too complicated.

That'd be nice. Oakland always started playing much better about mid June after sucking for most of the 1st half of the season.
