It wouldn't even be a question, except we have him Friday night until 6:00pm on Saturday. He only stays with us one night. Maybe we could meet you guys down there later on that night, camp out and get up Sunday and go tubing some more.

Maybe we could plan to do the tubing on Sunday, I have a couple of friends who might like that better who have to work on Saturdays.

That's a very good point. The 10-day forecast shows scattered thunderstorms every day. We might have to hold off until it stops raining. How does 2009 sound?

On the way home they said on the radio that they are exacuating some areas on the Brazos due to flooding..

WHEN it's time, bucks on the brazos is the best spot I've found out there...
remember where we all got out and was picked up by the van? that's the place ;)

Even if the river slows down a bit there will be all kinds of crazy debris and overflow from septic systems and god only knows what else in that water. Might want to let things return a little more to normal before tubing the river. Just my 0.02

I think now would be the time to go. Talk about a fucking adventure. Fuck taking 6 hours to paddle down a river half a mile.

shit, right now it'd only take 30 minutes to do the normal 6 hour ride and no paddles necessary! LOL

We just came from down there yesterday and I swear I saw something that said all tubing was suspended. I dunno but, someone may wanna check it out.
