Happened less than a mile from my house and in the same neighborhood a good friend of mine lives in. I'm pretty sure I've seen the rider around my 'hood. Typical young squid if I've got the right person. No gear save for (if you can call it that) gloves and sunglasses. Always had a chick riding on the back (no gear either). I see alot of people riding around Oak Cliff with no gear on :(

A 19-year-old man was killed after he was thrown from his motorcycle early Sunday morning in west Oak Cliff, police said.
Edgar Lumbreras was driving the motorcycle at a high rate of speed about 12:20 a.m. as he approached a sharp turn in the 4500 block of Lizzy Drive, said Dallas police Sgt. Jamie Matthews.
He lost control of the motorcycle and landed in the front yard of a residence, hitting his head at some point, Sgt. Matthews said.
A female passenger was also thrown from the motorcycle, but her injuries were not life-threatening, Sgt. Matthews said.
Mr. Lumbreras was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, Sgt. Matthews said.
It was unclear whether Mr. Lumbreras was wearing a helmet.
Map to where the accident happened. Real tight residential neighborhood so he couldn't have been going very fast (30-40mph tops) but if he was going at a high rate than he's (was) an idiot.
