What size speakers do you guys have in the doors of your stang? I got 5 1/4" and they seemed too small. I was wondering how big I can possibly go.

yea you can put a a bigger speaker in there, I had Kicker 6's in my fox

Yeah I already did the crutchfield thing, and I knew someone would post that lol. The thing is I bought those 5 1/4" and it said they would fit. But it almost looks like I got another 1" that I could go, so I was wondering the biggest size someone had gotten to fit successfully.

6.5's will fit but you may need to make or buy an adaptor plate. I've had MB Quarts 6.5's in an 88 and 93 fox and in a 94. I now have kicker 6.5's in my 04.

who uses 5 1/4 anymore, lol.....6 will fit as i said with no problem. if it dont, use a hole stretcher, $129.99 at Grainger

i gotta find it, i think i put it next to my brick stretcher somewhere in the garage.
If i can locate it, you can borrow no problem. You may have to change the tweeter nullifier on it though, but they are cheap as well. Grainger again has them in stock, $19.99

how the hell did you go from MB to Kicker???? lol, unless it was MB's base line and now you got Kickers high ends...
