Slammin Sammy finally did it tonight.

Well, he's more of a douchebag orchestrater, but has created a lot of them. I'll still keep him in my top five. If I can't have Steinbrenner, then I'll take Torre.

I took my father to the game for father's day. I thought it would be cool to watch the Cubs. I'd never had a chance to see them. I didn't know we were going to be front row for history. We were 20 ft. from Sosa's family. It actually was REALLY cool to be there. Even stranger.....the Rangers won the game!

Ya, I went to the Cubbie's first game, the night before, dammit.

The camera flashes were cool, though. Seemed to be even more than when Ryan was doing his thang.

How about that cocky prick Derek Jeter? Hell, half of the Yankees team, for that matter. Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter are both ball biting ass lickers though.

Sammy would look down, blinking hard after each pitch to correct his vision. I know I could work like that. That's why I thought he wasn't going to do it until today since it was a 1:05 game. Oh well, still might go, though.

I was going to bring him up. I think he has passed Sosa because there is now "proof" that Giambi used roids, and Sosa hasn't tested positive. Not that Sosa isn't guilty, but Giambi is just a flat out moron about it. Hell, if Bonds wasn't such a cock sucker and fixing to break the greatest record is sports, I would put Giambi at the top of the list.

In honor of #600, I hear he's going to autograph his 10 favorite corked bats and put them up on ebay. All proceeds going to charity.

On a side note, did anyone hear the fake Sosa on the Ticket this morning? Hilarious.

i played hookie from work today and went to the game. i think the city of chicago was empty because everybody from chicago was at the game. it was funny seeing them leave with upside down smiles. :D the funniest was seeing a guy in a NYY cap ragging on a cubs fan about it being a great game and thanks for coming out to watch the cubs lose. :rolleyes:

but seeing the cubs in person was the reason i went. i love interleague play. that's the best move MLB has made in a VERY long time.
