I just moved back to the DFW area and I'm looking for a job in event coordinating, promotions and/or marketing. I've got 5-7 years experience as well as a Bachelor's in Marketing.

Hey Jules, I did promos for a long time. Check out these sites:

Event Pro Strategies (www.eventprostrategies.com)
Promo Synthesis (www.promosynthesis.com)

Also, check out Craig's List under the 'Marketing/pr/ad' section. There is usually a lot of promo stuff there.

Once you register on those sites they will put you on their emails blasts for work in the area.

Also email Jana DeGrand at jdegrand61@msn.com - Tell her I said to email her with resume and head shot. She will put you on her email blasts as well. She works for Network Events and Promotions.

You could shoot tkopley@usmpagency.com (Thea). She does promotions with Budweiser. I used to work for them and loved it.

Just a few avenues to try.
