I really don't know what to think about this series. On one hand, I think the Cavs are worse than Denver, whom SA beat easily in the 1st round. Cleveland would be a 7-8 seed in the West at best. On the other hand, if LeBron goes off, they can probably beat anyone in the league. Some writers are saying this will be an easy series for the Spurs, others are picking Cle. It'll be interesting tonight for sure.

I want to say Spurs sweep, but Lebron is this years Dwayne Wade so expect alot of BS calls.
Lebron Elbows Chris Webber = No Suspension
Kobe Elbows anyone = Automatic Suspsension and David Stern has already fax papers for Kobe to join Hell.

No team is going to win with their star player shooting like that. For the Cavs to do anything in this series, LeBron is going to have to be at 30+ points each night.

Actually kind of a boring game, the Spurs had it in the bag from the outset. The crowd was even kind of quiet towards the end, I guess they had been cheering most of the game and their throats needed a rest. :D
The Cavs had another PITIFUL third quarter, what in the fuck is going on there? James will have to step it up.

I said in the beginning that the Spurs would take it in 6 but I'm going to say its going to be in 5 or less . If Tony and Manu get hot , the Cavs don't have a chance to win . Factor in Bowen and Finley dropping the 3 ball and its over even quicker .

About the time Dork got drafted and Cuban took over.

James did his job last night. He drew 2 to 3 guys over to him when he had the ball and made a pass to an open man that had a great look several times. With the amount of wasted attempts, how can you blame him for not taking some of those shots himself. I did notice that for a brief period they back off of him (just a little) and he made two 3's and a layup pretty quickly. If SA fucks up their pressure on him, they might have a hard time, but it looks like they already got it figured out. Remember, even Jordan had his Pippen when needed.

i love it when people say the Cavs have nobody on that team besides Lebron...
They were still hanging with the Spurs w/out Lebron even having a FG(i know alot to Lebron gettin doubled/ tripled team)
But anyways, Tony Parker is just running circles on Clevelands Guards.

I went to the game and I have to admit the crowd was really into it and helped the team along when the cavs got close. I love the fact how King James only had 8 points at the start of the 4th quarter. Yeah he's the next Jordan alright. Last time I checked you had to have ring to be king.

When the Spurs go up by 20+ points in a game, they always let down and allow the opposing team to come back. They did it against Phoenix, Utah, and now Cleveland. It's just human nature to not play with the same intensity when you have such a large lead. Just one of those things the great teams have to deal with. The funny part is, the announcers and fans always think the other team finally figured something out and that they'll be a better team come next game, but that never happens.

 He's still young. LeBron is going to be a force to be reckoned with, after he gains some more experience under pressure. I'm not saying he's better than Jordan, and I never have or that he ever will be. But the kid has fucking talent.

I'm just saying he didn't play an impressive game. As for comparisons to Jordan, I don't have any problem at all saying I think he will surpass MJ in a lot of statistics and eventually be considered one of the greats of the game. But he needs to be on a better team. Fortunately, he's in the East, so he can make it back to the Finals year after year. :D

I'll agree that his offensive game wasn't impressive. He hasn't had an impressive game yet this series, and it's become pretty apparent that he won't. He wasn't too shabby defensively though, from what I saw. I didn't watch the whole game though. I was in and out.

That game was terrible. One fucking point? Granted, GiNOSEli got screwed on that last 'foul'. I damn sure didn't see any contact, and that would have put the game away without the bullshit effort by Cleveland to tie it up. They deserved to lose, after letting SA control the ball for 1:30+ in the last 3 minutes. I think it's a bullshit way to go down, especially as bas as SA's shooting percentage was. Ah well, a win is a win.

I don't like the Spurs, but they definitely know how to win. Flopping and faking fouls are a part of their success. No, I'm not saying that because I don't like them. Every game I watch them play it happens numerous times from either Bowen, Ginobili, Whorry. etc.... They play well together, obviously, but the antics I could live without.

They are a boring team minus Tony Parker always slashing to the paint.
Tim Duncan is probly the most boring player in the NBA i've ever seen, but he's probly going to end up as the greatest PF in NBA HISTORY.
Ginobli gets on my nerves with his flopping.
But the Mavs are slowing down there tone also because of Avery, if the Mavs become a boring team and win Championships, then i'm all for it. The Run & Gun style will never work, ask Golden State and PHX
