To bad it's at Smirnoff. I hate that venue. ZZ Top is such a great band and probably ain't gonna be around to much longer.

I remember drawing ZZ Top's logo on my skateboard in hot pink and turquoise in 1982 and I have yet to ever see them live!
I really wish it was somewhere other then Smirnoff, and on a Sunday, BUT I will be there for sure...

Saw them play at the Fort Worth convention center about 5 years ago, and it ranks at least in the top 3 of concerts I've seen. But I really dig me some ZZ, so I might be biased. Still, it's a great stage presentation.

Well, yeah, but they're still fuckin' rockin', and they'll still whip out "Mexican Blackbird" or "Driving While Blind" as much as any Recycler or XXX stuff. (Tejas is my personal favorite)
Side note: If "Asleep In The Desert" doesn't make your peter wiggle, you're deaf, retarded, or both.

I am a HUGE ZZ fan, but the past couple of time they have been in town, the tickets were more than what I was willing to pay. They always sell out though. I used to always catch them in town since the Recycler tour. Saw them at the Cotton Bowl with Santana, Steve Miller Band, and some other people. They absolutely rocked! I would love to have seen them when they did the tour with all of the Texas wildlife on stage, but it was before my time.
BLAKE you're getting me psyched about this.

XXX didn't do it much for me, but I really liked Antenna. Rythmeen didn't do to well either. I gotta get that box set "Smoke, Chrome, and BBQ".
