what would i need if i wanted to run my cable into my PC and out to my t.v.? could i use my PC as a Tivo? i have a site i can stream movies from and it is hard to see on my monitor and was wanting to watch them through my t.v. all the t.v. has is a coax cable hook up, no RCA hook ups. i was thinking about a t.v.out video card or something

I could do it for you.. Pay me before services are rendered, and I don't guarantee results.

Check this site (http://www.hauppauge.com/) out. Fry's had the deal on the right hand side of the page, or one similar to it for $99.

if i got something like that, could i still use my regular video card and monitor for surfing and just use that t.v. video card for movies?

What I posted is a capture card and is separate of the vid card. The two in conjuction would be good for moderate gaming and dvr functionality provided your pc is capable.
