At their current pace, the only thing they'll be winning is the #1 pick in the draft...if they haven't traded it away in one of their many stupid trades over the last few years.

You guys need to quit bitching. They're in first place for fuck sake!
First place in the category of teams with the worst record. :(

Damn, 7-0 (Seattle, of course) after the third inning, off 9 weak ass hits. At least they won one a few days ago to break up that nasty 6 or 7 game losing streak...

Well, shit, they scored 5 runs in the top of the 4th. Too bad they won't score again the rest of the game. :(

Poor, poor Rangers.
What will if be after tonight, .352?

LMFAO! Unless I missed one, Sosa is now 0-4 with 4 strikeouts with the bases loaded.

If the stupid sumbitch would actually wait for the pitch, rather than trying to clobber everything thrown at him, he might actually have a hit or two.

And I was mistaken: he's now 1-5 with the bases loaded (a 1 RBI single that got under the outfielder's glove and scored 3 runs, and 4 strikeouts).

Whew, talk about dodging a bullet - bases loaded, 1 out, Rangers pitching and defense completely unable to get ANYBODY out, and they get a tailor-made double play ball: 6-4-3, inning ends.

Goddam! Kenny Lofton just scaled the wall in left-center, robbed Beltre of a 2-run homerun (in a tie game), and doubled up the runner on first. Better play than Matthews ever made. :o

What the fuck, Tony?? Did you pass out or something? Now I've got to go to the Rangers website.

Wow, Kenny Lofton with another great play - an on-the-run, over-the-shoulder catch that takes him all the way to the wall. Too bad they're down 3-5 going into the ninth. :(

Damn, Tex just took a cock-shot to the upper deck. 4-5 Seattle with 2 outs in the top of the ninth. Sammy Sosa is up, so the game is over barring an error, walk, or hit-by-pitch. :(

I sure am starting to like Victor Diaz.

I'm not too keen on Kata (although you've got to feel sorry for the bench warmer that suddenly finds himself at one of the most demanding positions on the field) or Kinsler at the moment, and I've never been a fan of Sosa.
But yeah, Diaz and Vasquez are doing pretty well. Byrd hustles, and that's got to count for something.

i wanna see them go into the minor leagues and see if they get there ass whooped.

Diaz has hit a grand slam tonight but damn if the Rangers aren't gonna blow a 6-0 lead.

Yeah, I'm getting more fond of Diaz as the days pass. This guy is looking really fucking good. He can play the field well and is really starting to hit the ball well.
If he winds up having a great season, look for the Rangers to ditch him next year. :(

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, which is still better odds than this team. Oh well, a win for my sorry-ass team. I guess I can rejoice until the next game.

Speaking of old, washed-up has-beens, they should fine Sosa a year's pay for getting picked off like a retard.

How ironic that Codero blows his first save of the year against the Rangers?? The was a great bottom nine. Byrd got the hit to tie the game and Young drove the winning run home.

not to mention Byrd made the diving play in right that kept the game at 3-0 in the 8th... maybe it was the 9th, i cant remember.

Yep, another blown save from Cordero, and what Rangers' loss would be complete without a game-ending double play from Mr. 598 Career Homeruns himself?

To be honest, I thought that run was safe at home. But I ain't complaining. It is sometimes hard to call from the plate. Besides, that umps strike zone is about 5' tall :D
LOL! I always liked Coco, now I realize why they couldn't overlook his blown games as flukes.
You guys should give Sosa a break, he displayed a special kind of flair for blowing the game that the other players couldn't manage. That's why they got him, right?

Obviously. Was that douchebag even running when he hit that last ball? I swear he was out by 15-20 feet.
0-5, hitting into (I believe) 2 double plays

Oh well, its still fun to watch them on my new LCD!
Not that it does me any good for anything else, but it made my wife happy. So we are dragging ass today thanks to the rangers. As always :D

Shit, it's not their fault; they won a series, went out and got a little tipsy in celebration, and were hungover for the series finale. If more people would let them win, they'd be able to hold their liquor a little better.

So, Sosa was instrumental in their victory yesterday, but he's back to his usual suck-face self again today. Like Denny said in this very thread, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
