I know it means don't change the file system (FAT or NTFS). Does that also mean don't format the drive? If I am installing Windows 2000 on a drive that has data on it, and I selected "Leave the current file system intact", will my old data still be there?

I had Windows on my C and all my files on D. Then C died so I made D the Master then started installing Windows on it. After I started the install, I wondered if it was going to wipe out my pics, email, MP3, etc. I'm glad it didn't. I was sweating it for a few minutes.
I just buy ammo a little at a time and stash it for the next Katrina. :)
