The ping-pong balls were drawn and this is how it came out:

1. Portland
2. Seattle
3. Atlanta
4. Memphis
5. Boston
6. Milwaukee
7. Minnesota
8. Charlotte
9. Chicago (From New York)
10. Sacramento
11. Atlanta (From Indiana)
12. Philadelphia
13. New Orleans/OKC
14. L.A. Clippers
15. Detroit (From Orlando)
16. Washington
17. New Jersey
18. Golden State
19. L.A. Lakers
20. Miami
21. Philadelphia (From Denver)
22. Charlotte (From Toronto)
23. New York (From Chicago)
24. Phoenix (From Cleveland)
25. Utah
26. Houston
27. Detroit
28. San Antonio
29. Phoenix
30. Philadelphia (From Dallas)

I don't like the fact that Dallas doesn't have a 1st round pick. Not sure when or for who that was traded.

Portland and Seattle are sitting pretty right now for the Durant/Oden sweepstakes. However, Philly has 3 1st round picks. Possible trade up with picks?

If Portland drafted Kevin Durant they would look like the following:

PG: Jarrett Jack
SG: Brandon Roy (2006-2007 NBA Rookie Of The Year)
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Zach Randolph
C: LaMarcus Aldridge

Thats a young, but seriously talented roster that could end up being like the 'Baby Bulls' are right now.

So, who do you pick 1st if you are the Trail Blazers, Durant or Oden?

True 7 foot centers are almost impossible to pass up but i really like Durant's upside better.I mean this is a guy who only played one college season and was dominant.I really think five years from now his numbers will be awesome.

Also, LaMarcus Aldridge ain't chopped liver at center either.I know he had some health issues his first year(irregular heartbeat) but i am under the impression they're under control.

Man, I may come to regret this decision but i got to go with Durant.

There are at least 3 players who are 7' or taller that will be 1st rounders this year (Greg Oden - 7'0" 245lbs, Yi Jianlian - 7'0" 246lbs , and Roy Hibbert - 7'2" 265lbs. Its becoming somewhat easier to find a big man, especially in this draft.

Finding guys like Dirk, 7 footer who can shoot from anywhere, is what is nearly impossible to find. Durant definately has the better long-term upside with his shooting ability as well as being able to post-up, if necessary. Oden's game is pretty much one-dimensional.

Also, LaMarcus Aldridge ain't chopped liver at center either.I know he had some health issues his first year(irregular heartbeat) but i am under the impression they're under control.

That is the exact reason why I think they will go Durant over Oden. They already used a 2nd overall pick on Aldridge last year, why use a #1 overall for the same position?

Its hard to tell, but I think both guys will have good careers.
