Im having problems getting a Server 2003 System to share a File, or drive with all the other computers on the network. Do I need to have all the computers on the network a user? Everything else is running XP Pro and they all need to connect to the Server to access a single file at one time.

Help me out anyone, Would like to have it setup where you have to log on to the computer you are using through the server also

What kind of file is this and what program will be used to access it? Unless the program is setup to do so you will have all kinds of sharing violations and shit.

Its a database file, mdn, I think. A program on each computer has to access it. It was setup fine on all xp pro systems and a xp pro server but it wasnt dedicated. Trying to make it run faster.
