hey my name is steve and i am 18 desperatly looking for a oil rig job for the summer i have graduated and i need to make some cash to pay for my millwright pre employment course and i an't seem to find a job on a rig and i was wondering if anyone could help me out i live in saskatchewan canada thnx

why not? it's local and a buddy probably told him about the site... he's probably been lurking, heard some people talk about different jobs, now he's about out of school so he said fuck it and signed up to post up on the jobs forum
it's one of those jobs that you shouldn't have much trouble landing, you just need to talk to the right person...

actually i did join this forum because of a friend and i don't own one but a my school we are restoring one for our grade12 automotive class

And oil rig work, F- that! They make damned good money but so do hitmen and drug dealers and they've got less of a chance of getting killed or maimed on the job.

If you like to have no life and get paid well for working 70 hours a week risking your life then go for it. I did it for 9 months and got out, thank god.

Just go to the rigs and ask if they need any help. Thats what we did in the 70's.
Its probably about the hardest and most dangerous job you'll ever do.
