I have a 06 GT. Procharged 460 RWHP-Hurst-Longtubes with offroad X-4.10s-
I just bought some MT ET streets for the track and was wondering how much time they will save me..
I ran at the track a couple of times with my 20inch rims and street radials.. I was running 8.1-8.3 with about 2.05-2.1 60 fts..... How much less will my time be with the ET Streets

I would hope it would be quicker than that. Sounds like the "driver mod" might help... ;)

His 60ft is going to be what will determine if it runs faster. His car makes the power. But it being a stick & even on the Et's... He might pull a low 1.7 if he is lucky.
Being that he ran 8.2 on the norm from what he said that he runs 8.1 to 8.3 n the norm. I assume he was pulling 2.0 60fts & losing 3 tenths on the 60ft should net him a 7.80 & maybe a 7.70

I'll go with 7.7, maybe 7.6 if you can cut a good 60ft.

My bolt on 2v would cut a 1.7 60' with MT E/T streets on it. I would hope he would be able to get a little better than that with 200 more rwhp.

That MPH seems a little weak. My '06, bone stock runs 82 MPH. I'd suspect you should run around 94-96MPH which should/could get you some 7.3-7.5's.

I hope you can get the 7.60, But if I had to bet on it, I would say the very best would be a 7.70 & lean more towards 7.80s. I am not trying to rain on your parade. But my car ran 7.40s @ 91 & it was a Auto. With a Trap of 88 mph & being a stick. I would be all smiles with a 7.70 timeslip....
7.70s is fast for a daily driver no matter how you cut the mustard ;)

That does seem a little low since my GT is running 81 and it only has 254 rwhp.

Was that on Motor?
Also he is a Turbo car. He needs a 2 Step to make boost off the line

yeah, I was just thinking about it some more - it should be close to 20 MPH over stock with 200 RWHP over stock.

Thats all motor on my car. I don't have the prochager installed yet. And he said he was procharged not turbod, but I guess it would still take a little time to build the boost. Still his MPH should be alot faster.

x2 You should be able to hit 7.6 as long as you get traction on the launch.

All of this just makes me want to get home that much more so I can get my procharger installed. Hopefully it will be all installed and tuned inside of two weeks from the 18th. I hate not being at home!

The MPH might stay about the same. I know my MPH was with in 1 or 2 when I switched from street tires to slicks. It actually went down for the first few passes until I learned how to drive the car again.

Mine dropped initially because the car bogged down a little bit when it was running on slicks, but at the end of track traction is no longer an issue whether I'm running on slicks or street tires, on street tires it just takes me longer to get up to speed, but I end running the same MPH as I do on slicks.
