The truck I have been helping a buddy build in what little spare time I have had over the last year is finally running. He made a few test passes a week ago at Redline. For a 4300 lb truck I must say it did OK first time out. Be on the look out. Its just a mild street blower combo in a black SS454 pickup. If we can keep the stock rearend together it just might supprise you if you come against it. ;)
This is it in case you forgot about this post. I would like to publicly thank Turbostang for bringing it to my attention the the fuel line size we had would not have worked.

LOL didn't you go back and read the answer the last time you asked me on my for sale post? Its been on hold. I had already committed myself to the truck so I had to finish it and get it off my lift. I will put the TA back together and play with it with a for sale sign posted on the back window until its gone. Its time for the Bu' to see daylight again.

Yea thats the one. Its been a while because its been on my lift for a year. I only thought time was short until I had a kid. Would not trade her for the world though. :)

In Greg's wettest dream. If its the one I think it is it has a big big big block and a ton of juice. I was told that truck is deep in the 5's but I have never seen a slip. We are not even in the zip code with this little street truck.

The 454 SS has some special rear end in it stock, I think I remember the guy telling me it had a 9.5" ring gear (same as 1-ton) or some nutty shit like that. Should be pretty stout. Sounds like a bitchin truck..

The rear will hold the power but the posi units won't. His was already showing signs of failure on the 2nd pass.

Not the same truck, the one you are talking about has a BIG motor in it and belongs to Billy that works at Simple Quick. I don't know how much of the details he wants to spill, but it's FAST on straight motor.
