I used to be a lifting fanatic but am having a hard time finding motivation to get back in the GYM. I know I need it, I'm just trying to find the drive to get out and do something. Suggest away. :o

It's always hard to get started back. I'd spend some money on some good supplements to help make some good gains in short time. Once you start seeing some good progress the motivation or addiction kicks in.
A good partner and an I-pod or MP3 player help too....

Sit down now and build your program. Schedule yourself exact days/times right now when you are going to go in and workout. Then just hop on it. Do your best for these next two weeks to stay to your set dates. If you miss one, make it up later that day or the next day, but make it up. After you have forced yourself in there for a couple weeks, you will get that feeling back where you do not want to miss a day of lifting.

We were bored last weekend and channel surfing, they had some marathon of The Biggest Loser. That motivated both of us to join LA Fitness. Have a club by the hotel, and one by the new house. It's only been a week, but I went 4 times already!

So we decided to have a contest bewteen the two of us and see who looses more body fat % wise, in 3 months.

Have to admit, I have been lazy recently, and for only being 1 week, I feel better all ready.

Seeing those fat people make that big of a difference was pretty amazing. Several have kept it off too, at least long enough for the reunion show they had that afternoon.
